Went to load the dishwasher, didn't hear any chatter coming from him, so I went to peek out the door to see what was going on and found him playing in the mud! Childhood at its best! :)

Day 82. This handsome guy has been mine for 4,380 days, or 12 years- whatever sounds good to you.  I know most people don't believe in high school sweethearts, but I couldn't imagine my life with out him. I've known since the first time I laid eyes on him in 5th grade, he'd be mine forever. When you know, you know! So here's to making more memories of us.

Day 79. We had some pretty intense wind the last couple of days, so intense it took some shingles right off our roof. So Daddy and his little helper patched the roof, until we can fix it, when its a little  warmer!

Cyrus woke up with a horrible cough this morning, dry and croupy sounding. I knew exactly what would be in the diffuser today. RC to the rescue, I can already tell he's gotten some relief! My oil collection is small, but mighty and I may have a handful of oils just waiting to be shipped! ;)

Today was the craziest weather! Started the day cold, rainy and icy. The rain stopped, it was a little breezy but it warmed up when the sun came out. All of a sudden, the wind picked up again, it was cold, sunny and rainy. Strange weather.

Today my little family went snowshoeing with my Dad. I'm incredibly blessed to even be able to write those words. Six years ago my Dad had a double lung transplant, this is all possible because of that. He should be in heaven with my Mom, but he's not, he's here with us. I'm beyond grateful he is still here on earth with us today, and that Cyrus gets to have these adventures with him. Be an organ donor, you could save somebody's Dad, Husband, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother or Friend. <3
