I plan on raising a little boy who shovels, does yard work, laundry, dishes, cleans toilets and knows how to take care of himself and his lady!

If you know me outside of this blog then you know I had taken a picture of Cyrus doing dishes with my phone. I instantly fell in love with it and it got many comments and likes on my Facebook. Sadly it just being an iPhone picture I can't do much with it, so I decided to recreate the moment today!

I can't decide between the two, I like them both a lot. It still doesn't have that same spot in my heart as that iPhone picture does for some odd reason!

Its been snowing since before I even got out of bed today and its still falling! My boys were snuggled in close this morning since we knew Daddy was going to have a snow day, no alarms to wake us up it was a great way to start our Wednesday! I quietly left the room this morning so I could enjoy a quiet cup of coffee because lets face it that never happens in a house with a busy three year old!

We relaxed for most of the day, I caught up on some tv while the boys went for a walk and when they came home I did a quick 5 minute family photo shoot! :o)

One of my goals this year was to take a family photo every season, and more pictures of just Jay and I! I can check winter off that check list and one of many photos of us together!

I had a tiger show up in my yard today, a pretty darn cute one! Cyrus and I had a blast outside soaking up the sun before the big storm hits us tomorrow! I couldn't choose just one....Don't you hate when that happens?

I've had better days! Today wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special either. I was exhausted, and behind on my blog so I spent a good chunk of the morning playing catch up! I hate getting behind on the blog! Today was pretty uneventful, and I had no urge to pick up the camera! I ran out to Rite Aid to grab some melatonin in hopes that Cyrus will get some good sleep tonight and while I was stuck at the traffic light I
snapped this horrible excuse for a photo!

Superbowl Sunday!!! Don't be fooled by my exclamation points, I could care less about football! We do however always watch the super bowl! Okay, okay maybe I don't really watch it, but Jay does! We had Tess, Wes and her boys over for the evening! They brought chinese food which was such a treat, I haven't had it in soo long! I made my crock pot meatballs, spinach and artichoke dip, ranch popcorn, andd guacamole....it barely got touched. Guess we'll be snacking for the next few days! ;o) Nothing spectacular from this blog today, sorry!

Today we celebrated my nephew's 8th birthday! He had a fun, crazy swimming party with all his friends at the YMCA, then we went back to his house for dinner and cupcakes! Oh and because I'm the best Auntie EVER I got him the best gift....the rainbow loom!I have a special place in my heart for this little boy. I was 17 when he was born, doing my internship at the local elementary school when I got a message from my dad saying your sister really needs you, the little groundhog has decided to arrive! I rushed to the hospital with a chocolate shake in hand for the laboring Momma and was so excited to meet this little man! His birth was amazing, and something I'll never forget. I was very blessed to be apart of all my nephew's births, but his was extra special. He and I have such a special bond, that could never be replaced, I hope as he gets older our relationship doesn't fade, because he means the world to me. I hope he knows I'll always be here for him, a tight hug, a listening ear whatever he needs and I hope he knows he can always come to me especially when he doesn't feel like he has anyone! Happy Birthday, a day early, Anthony. I love you!

We spent the day hanging out with Blake while we waited for the boys to get out of school and for my sister to return from Boston! Blake and Cyrus really enjoy one another's company, so the day flew by! I just loved, loved that Dude the dog was laying in some pretty awesome light, too!
