It was dinner around the coffee table, and movie kind of night! We rented Free Birds, and ate pizza tonight it was a great Friday night!

After all the beautiful snow fall, bokeh pictures Tess has created, I knew I had to try my hand at it! She inspired me from her first shot, in the over grown christmas tree field!

It was a gorgeous day out, the snow fell all day long and it was truly beautiful. The moment I saw the snow fall and all the beautiful snow flakes within each cluster I knew I had to try and get a snow flake shot! I was really wishing I had a macro! I did my best, while its no where sharp or perfect, it is all I could do with the equipment I had!

Finally got a picture of Jaimie and I together! A big thanks to the guest photographer, Garrett for snapping this for me! I look forward to Tuesday evenings as soon as they end!

Little man did dishes for me again tonight, and obviously played in the water too! I misplaced my expodisk so the white balance was horrendous...Thank goodness for lightroom, but it would have been so much better to not have to play with it!

Today was the best Sunday we've had in a long time! I spent my morning finishing up my editing for the birthday I shot last weekend and then we spent a good 2+ hours hiking in the woods. We explored a trail we've never been down, and I got some really great ice shots! You should have seen me trekking through 3 feet deep snow, laying down to get certain shots...it was a little crazy. I may have fallen in a the brook a time or two...shhh! The detail in ice is AMAZING! I was kind of missing my Dad though, he brought me out to a brook on his land last year, to capture the ice with him. I'd never shot it before, and felt kind of guilty he wasn't there with me. Those are still some of my favorite images I've ever taken! Great memories!

Editing, editing and more editing! I need to get this birthday party edited and shipped out! I'm really loving some of these images, I hope they love them as much as I do!
