Its been snowing since before I even got out of bed today and its still falling! My boys were snuggled in close this morning since we knew Daddy was going to have a snow day, no alarms to wake us up it was a great way to start our Wednesday! I quietly left the room this morning so I could enjoy a quiet cup of coffee because lets face it that never happens in a house with a busy three year old!
We relaxed for most of the day, I caught up on some tv while the boys went for a walk and when they came home I did a quick 5 minute family photo shoot! :o)
One of my goals this year was to take a family photo every season, and more pictures of just Jay and I! I can check winter off that check list and one of many photos of us together!
Hope everyone who got hit by this storm enjoyed it!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!:)
ReplyDeletethese are too much!! No more bitching about your blog lady... Everyday is incredible....
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome. What a great goal to do family photos, and an inspiration for us! I'm assuming you used a tripod? I'm tempted to try it as well, just would be scared of tipping the camera into the snow! :) Great job.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes I used a tripod (it was set up in our woodshed under cover from the falling snow), set the self timer to take 5 pictures and ran into the shot! Go try! Family pictures are so important, and I could never afford to get ours done so now I am challenging myself to do them!
DeleteThank you all! :o)
ReplyDeleteI just love the first one. I need to try this, we don't have any family photos.
ReplyDeleteDo it! You won't regret it! Just plan on taking at least a 100 to get the perfect one! lol! This is how I've done all our family portraits!
DeleteSuch a great idea! I have a tripod but have been a little intimidated and have not taken it out of the box yet...
ReplyDeleteThanks! Go do it! I'd love to see what you create! Don't be intimidated! If you have an interval timer thats an even better way to do it that way you're not running back and forth to the camera and its a little easier! Just make sure you have someone to stand in for you to nail your focus!
DeleteOh I love the first one! That's definitely a keeper!
