Today I met the Rollins family in the city for a morning session! I told corny jokes, heard funny stories, dangled over ledges and made my famous monkey face for them! I hope they love their family portraits as much as I do!

We said good bye to our campsite this morning! I'll miss watching the morning sun rays stream through the campfire smoke, what I won't miss is the lack of sleep! Till next year, maybe! ;o)

We went exploring, found a great bridge, a peeling paint wall, and a river to throw rocks in. It was all fun and games until Cyrus stopped listening, threw the biggest fit and caused a huge scene! Oh, parenting, and vacationing.

Cyrus loved sticking the fire poker, as we called it, into the fire, and then watching it go out and and the smoke billow out of it. Its the little things, like playing dirt bikes by lantern light!

Had the honor of second shooting a beautiful wedding on Saturday! I've known the groom for about 11 years, haven't seen him in a long time, but was happy to share this moment with him! Then I met my boys for our weekend of camping!

My son knows the joy of blowing into a video game to get it to work! I've been totally uninspired, and my shots show it. I've been telling Tess how much I wanted to do this when you're in a rut prompt from the click it up a notch site, so today she made me! I haven't been shooting for me, or even trying to find the beauty in things. I pushed through, we walked around a little town, took 10 steps and then tried to find something to photograph. While some were winners, others were not and thats okay! ;o) I made this collage from the shots I took!

A little frustrated with my Tamron lens. It's just not as sharp as it once was, and so today I played with it. While these shots are not horrible, they're not perfect either. My models was beyond done with me...life of a photographer's child!

Jay and I spent the day together just to two of us! It was fabulous, we shopped, we went out for lunch and we saw a movie. As we were leaving the outlets the sky was just amazing! Then we picked up our little guy and cuddled in close for the night.

I've been dying to take a picture like this since theses flowers bloomed. Today was that day. He was such a ham, and I don't think I'll ever forget the belly laugh he let out when he saw the picture!

Took some inspiration from the blog post Tess posted yesterday. My focus is off, and I just have to be okay with it. He complained of his hands hurting, and well he's four, there was no chance for a redo.
