Today was the best Sunday we've had in a long time! I spent my morning finishing up my editing for the birthday I shot last weekend and then we spent a good 2+ hours hiking in the woods. We explored a trail we've never been down, and I got some really great ice shots! You should have seen me trekking through 3 feet deep snow, laying down to get certain shots...it was a little crazy. I may have fallen in a the brook a time or two...shhh! The detail in ice is AMAZING! I was kind of missing my Dad though, he brought me out to a brook on his land last year, to capture the ice with him. I'd never shot it before, and felt kind of guilty he wasn't there with me. Those are still some of my favorite images I've ever taken! Great memories!

    1. Thanks!! The tunnel feels a bit crooked, but I couldn't get it just right!

  5. These are all fantastic! I especially love the movement of the water and comp in the top left and the nice contrast in highlights and shadows in the bottom left.
