Playdoh day at my house. Please tell me I'm not the only Mom who really doesn't enjoy playdoh? I can't stand the mixed colors, the texture, the smell everything about it! Sometimes you just have to do things you don't like though....so we played playdoh! This guy totally reminded me of the kool aid man, am I right?

We went to see the Lego Movie with Tess and her boys! I didn't bring my camera because I wanted to let Tess capture it, and didn't want to have the same thing on our blogs! Then I was regretting it because I hadn't a clue what I was going to capture!
Cyrus has this thing where he drops his beads on the ground and tells me what he sees. Today he did just that but asked if I would take a picture of it for my blog. So of course I said yes! (I really love that he tries to help me come up with my picture ideas!) So instead of telling you what he saw, I'm going to have you guess...

Today Cyrus came a knocking on the front door....I opened and much to my surprise his little hands held a little nest. I told him to pause and stay right there! Too cute not capture!

Tuesday nights are show nights with Jaimie, they have been for the last 3 years or so if I remember correctly! Although I haven't seen her in a few weeks because of this or that so tonight is long over due! I miss her!

She's supplying the wine, and I'm supplying these super delicious sugar cookie cherry bars!

I spent today photographing one of the cutest little boys I've ever met, first birthday! I did his newborn pictures last year and was so honored when they contacted me to do his party! They're a really fun family! I even got to capture little D being sung Happy Birthday through facetime from his family in the Netherland's! How neat? I've yet to edit any of the photos, since I wanted to have some family time today, I'll dive into them tomorrow. 

So I sat around my house clicking useless things, then immediately deleting....I was getting so frustrated! Cyrus said Mom take a picture of this, and his whole face was lit up from the glow of the wood stove! He wins tonight! Thanks little man for helping Mommy get her blog done tonight! :o) I love you!

I absolutely love reading. I feel as if you get to live so many different lives, all while living your own! I haven't made much time for my reading lately, and that needs to change. I was scrolling facebook when the kindle daily deals popped up, I decided to browse and decided to purchase one, and grabbed a free one that sounded pretty great too!

What a great day it was. We had a heat wave, it was in the 30's....lucky us! ;o) Cyrus spent so much time out in the snow this morning. He put on quite the outfit, dinosaur feetie pajamas, with a came hoodie, then his carhartt jacket and he completed his ensemble with his orange cleats that are 4 sizes to big for him....we refer to them as his clown shoes! It was hysterical, too bad he wasn't up for a picture of it!

We went for a walk with our pup and found some one's shiner traps so we took a quick peek in to see what he caught! We finished the afternoon with some snowman making!

Today we spent a good chunk of our day at the mall! I'm a procrastinator and wait last minute to do most things, I guess I work better under pressure. Sure I'll go with that. Any who I needed to get Tess her birthday present! After spending almost an hour designing her gift, and apologizing for how particular I was many times we finalized what she was getting!

Cyrus and I headed to do a little bit of shopping, and of course have a Tutti Frutti date while we waited for our sweatshirts to be made up!

We spent the evening having dinner, and celebrating Tess' birthday!

Yet another snow storm has come to our neck of the woods! Today Cyrus and I brought the snow inside, built a snowman and Cyrus got to play the big hot sun and melted the snow away! This Mama is ready for spring!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We started our day with some heart fried eggs, with cut out heart toast! So good! Then we shoveled ourselves out from this blizzard.

Jay takes care of two elderly families during the winter, shoveling their roofs, walkways, snowblowing, bringing in wood and what ever else they need! So with the 18 inches that was dropped on us he had to go and shovel, a lot! I joined him for his last house, and did the paths so I could take a little bit of the work off his hands! Boy will I feel that tomorrow! ;)

He said thats true love, spending a Valentine's day shoveling together. You know what, it is! Cyrus was asleep by 6:30pm, and we quickly followed him!

Hope everyone had a great day celebrating Valentine's Day, however you choose to spend it!

Cyrus saw me draw on the window for my picture today, and he decided to draw a masterpiece all on his own!

Jay and I decided that we weren't going to do Valentine's Day this year! Well of course like always he came home with a little bouquet of mini roses! When I stated that I thought we weren't doing Valentine's Day gifts, he looked at me and said well it isn't Valentine's Day, its just because I love you! He sure is sweet!

Cyrus has this really awesome Grammy who makes him millions of hats! She surprised him with a monster hat for Valentine's Day! She asked me to take some pictures of him so she could share them at work. We had a mini photoshoot, he totally hammed it up! Here are a few of my favorites!

Battling yet another sickness...and its miserable! We just hung out at home! Remember those strawberries yesterday...well Cyrus managed to eat almost all 2lbs of the strawberries in two days! I guess he was missing out on berries!

I think Grey Grey wanted me to fill their water bowl!! Whoops!

Today Cyrus and I hit up some stores, and while we were in Sam's Club, he insisted on getting 2lbs of strawberries. So thats what you get for today!

Today I was asked to come to a Mary Kay makeover party to help a friend build her portfolio. She is a Mary Kay Consultant but it looking to expand her horizons and is thinking of dabbling in the wedding make up industry. I did some shots of them doing their own facials, her applying makeup and then I did a before and after for her! It was a fun day, and great to be out of the house being an adult, as a stay at home Mom, I don't get that very often! Oh and I highly recommend Mary Kay Satin Hands- an amazing product, that is now going to be in my daily routine!

I did it. I made it to 100 days! Today was a busy day, one that I wanted to enjoy, not behind the camera. We went out for breakfast, stocked up on some new books and The Toadstool! Went shopping at Target, TJ maxx, Home Depot and many other stores. Our favorite stop was Petco, he gets special treatment (or so I'd like to think) since his Grammy is store manager! Then we had dinner out at Applebee's...the service was horrible but dinner was great! I was so tired when we got home, I contemplated skipping today...but its day 100 so I couldn't, I picked up my camera and found that I had snapped off ONE quick photo of Jay.. I called it good, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it! SO much for my plans of making day 100 special..... Its life, right?
