My sick boy disappeared, I called his name and he told me he had decided to lay down cause he wasn't feeling well. I found him reading in his bed, it was the cutest little sight!

Time flies when you're a parent. Soon his belly button wont look like this, and those wispy hairs will be gone, thank goodness for Mom's with cameras! Oh and camo undies will probably come to an end, too! ;o)

Spent our Sunday sledding then we came home and I took a nap! I am perfectly happy with these cell phone pictures for today, and honestly it was nice not picking up the camera! ;o)

There was so much beauty outside today that I really shouldn't have waited until last minute to snap a picture for the day, but I did! I got a major eye roll when I asked Cyrus if I could photograph him brushing his teeth.....

I was letting Tuck out to do his morning duties and saw some vibrant pinks and purples coming from parts of the sky. I threw on some clothes, let him in and raced to catch the sunrise. I'm fairly certain I missed the best colors of it, however I did welcome a new day- and it was refreshing.

When we got home this evening our motion light was hitting our burning bush (uwanamus, from the arborist in the house), the bokeh was stunning! Unfortunately my camera was having a VERY hard time focusing, and the rain started to come down, fast. I wish I could have really captured the feel, this will have to do!

Cyrus finally got to spend his Toys R Us gift card he got for Christmas! Of course he chose Legos! ;o)

I knew my light would be gone soon, so I told Cyrus to bundle up to play outside, while I walked our yard for the millionth time to look for something to photograph.

I was photographing some pine branches, all minimalist like (lets face it, I'm beginning to struggle with this 365, yes, already), when all of sudden I am smacked in the back with a snowball, and all I can hear is the roar of a belly laugh. I slowly turned around, not impressed, and there he was ready and aiming for my camera. I gave him the death glare, he released his snow ball, I moved out of the battle zone and bam there he fell right into the snow. He stood up, only to realize his jacket and pants had filled with snow.  Karma, Cyrus, karma!

You can laugh, cause I am!

Not to sound all high on myself, but I'm almost positive when you saw the above photo of Cyrus- you thought awe, cute- or something along those lines. Him? Oh, hell no! He went bat shit crazy, threw the biggest tantrum I've ever seen. Hysterically crying, foot stomping, fists flying, door slamming, screaming at the top of his lungs that I am "THE WORST MOTHER IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD!" This melt down lasted at least THIRTY minutes, I'm fairly certain it was longer, but I'll shave a few minutes off for him. 

You want to know why?

Well, because I cropped OLAF out of the picture. How dare I! I mean come on a character shirt isn't distracting at all. 

Finally, we compromised, and I calmed his ass down with some GO FISH!

The morning light was calling my name, but when I went out to shoot what I saw I just couldn't get it right. Don't you hate that? Please tell me I'm not alone!

I think my fingers were in the beginning stage of frost bite, so I snapped and ran right back inside!

Everyone in our house is feeling a little tired, and under the weather. Cyrus set up a bed, and his nabi in front of the wood stove, and camped out with Teddy for a good couple of hours, I however didn't find the floor comfortable, but my bed sure was! ;o)

Since we awoke to -11 degrees outside, we had the pleasure of Daddy staying home!!! I asked if I could get a nice quick picture of the two of them, and they proceeded to goof off on me, sadly my favorites are out of focus so these will have to do! ;o)
