Sunday, family fun day! Since I was feeling a bit under the weather this morning, Jay went to visit family with Cyrus, while I rested for a little bit! He came and dropped Cyrus off so he could work for an hour! Then we spent some time resting, cause Cyrus and I are both now battling colds. This has been a rough winter for us, we haven't gotten sick like this ever!

Jay really wanted to go out for a walk and show me a nest in the marsh we live next to (he really, really wanted it to be my picture for the day, how cute is that?!). We bundled up and headed out to the conservation land that surrounds our house. How lucky are we?! We had a blast and the fresh air was so rejuvenating!

Tess brought me a crate of spaghetti squash earlier in the week and I've been dying to photograph them. I keep saying I'll do it today and then never do, she suggested I do it yesterday but like I said I just didn't have it in me to photograph another thing. Today was busy, which was good, but I hadn't a clue what I was going to do for the blog today......then it hit me.....just photograph the damn squash already. When they dropped this off, I warned her that she may not get her crate back. ;o)

Late again, what else is new with me?

I know you've all seen my handsome guy working this week, sorry, but you get to see it again! We had the crane here to take out some pines, a dead beech, and a hemlock down in our front yard.

I was hesitant at first, thinking how much privacy we'd lose but he talked me into and now I can't wait for the hardwood saplings to flourish!

I'm incredibly lucky, and blessed to have a man who works SO hard for his family and provides us with everything we need and most of our wants as well! (Every time I say I want something for my ridiculously expensive hobby, he finds a way to make it happen!! Although I have yet to get the camera bag I've been drooling over, maybe soon! Hint Hint, honey!) I can't show him enough appreciation for being able to be a stay at home Mom for the last almost FOUR years! YIKES, side track but holy crap we're going to have a FOUR year old in April. Time really does fly, no joking! I can't wait for the rest of our lives together, it will be a blast! I love this man with my whole heart and then some!

I had intentions of blogging a different photo for the day, but exhaustion hit me and I was all set with finding something to photograph. This blog is supposed to be our life, and well tree removal was our our life today! ;o)

I was chatting with Tess this morning about how much I wanted to buy a pomegranate for Cyrus to try but was too cheap in case he didn't like it! I know they are not that expensive but we have to live a little more frugally in the winter months! So she surprised him with one and some other goodies. It was thoughtful and we really appreciated it, and he loved it. So now I know I can buy them and I won't be wasting any money. Thanks for the snack and photo prop of the day, Tess! ;o)

I took a few photos through out the day because I just wasn't sure what I was in the mood for sharing!

So you get a couple today. One- my flowers, I really need a macro! Two- Daddy brought the crane home from work, and if you have a little boy you know how excited mine got when he saw it getting backed into the drive way he just had to go outside and climb on it. Three- Daddy and Cy had some special candy land time together. How does Cyrus ALWAYS win?!
