Quickly snapped these on my way into the house after our night away. Cyrus was fast asleep, groceries needed to be brought in, cats needed food, fire needed to be made, snow clean up needed to be done, dinner needed to be prepped, blog needed to be caught up and so on and so forth. I sure am missing that tub! ;o)

Today we met up with my sister, brother in law and her boys for some indoor fun at Krazy Kids! We had a fabulous time, and spent a good half of the day there. The boys definitely would have stayed longer had we let them. My sister also surprised us with a night away in a hotel, and kept Cyrus. It was very much appreciated and needed!

I spent the morning cleaning up a bit, and doing the things I've slacked on. Tess called and asked if I wanted to go for a walk with her, so they popped over for a quick walk! It was nice to have visitors after being cooped up for so long, oh and the exercise was good too. I really need to get back into walking, I lost so much weight and felt so good about myself when I did. No more excuses, I will be walking these pounds off that I've gained. After browsing old photos (the last two years), I finally realize I was skinny. I wish I had believed people when they told me, and enjoyed the compliments but I didn't. I always wondered what they were looking at, cause it sure wasn't what I saw in the mirror. I always told them I still had x amount of weight to lose and blah blah blah. Now I realize I was crazy, if I had lost any more weight I would have been skin and bones, literally. I'm not sure if I want to be that thin again, but I definitely want to tone up and a lose a bit! Sorry for the total sidetrack, just wanted to spill my thoughts for me to be able to read later in life. Any who the day went fast and gave me many times to capture things I just didn't feel like it. Jay came home, and I had still yet to pick up the camera, so I told him I was going to venture down the road and see the sunset.
At first I was capturing the regular old sunset, and thinking to myself how many times can I use a sunset or sunrise picture before someone sighs at my blog. My mind started working and I captured it uniquely or at least I think its unique! I'm happy with shot of the day, and I'm happy I'm not posting just a picture of the sunset. It was gorgeous, glad I ventured out!

After a long day in the mothering department yesterday, today was much needed! We had a great day today. Coloring, car races, playing on the ice, reading books and lots and lots of snuggles!
I asked him to draw our family today, and this is what I got. Its the best, and I will cherish it for years to come! I'm on the right, looking like I have one awesome mustache, Daddy is in the middle and Cyrus is on the left. The bottom left fat cat is Max, and the little one next to him is Grey, and then Tucker is under my feet, like always! ;o)

I was having my usual morning conversation when I spotted a breathtaking picture out my living room windows! Of course I couldn't capture exactly what I saw- I really hate that, but I did the best I could. I sighed and said oh well at least I have a picture for my blog!
I ended up baking my Dad a cake, and bringing it to him, so I got the chance to snap these too for the day!

Rain, rain go away! I'm done with all this rain, at this point I'd rather it be snow, at least I can take my camera outside still, but not with rain. I had a busy day of running around, visiting my Dad for his 55th birthday and going to my friends house for our show night!
I brought my camera with me all day there just wasn't anything worth photographing in the awful rain and fog. We didn't actually celebrate my Dad's birthday because they had already made plans for the evening, so that was off the list. Again, nothing too exciting in my house. I'm positive every one is sick of Cyrus pictures! Ahh, this is starting to get challenging. Anyone else feeling in a rut? I'm thinking maybe some of my followers and those I follow can start a project with each other to keep us all going? Perhaps one of those 30 day challenges, or a low light challenge, leading lines, b&w week, still life, night time- any ideas? Any interest? We still have 290 days to go. Just writing that is making my head spin a little.
We got busy and let our stove go out, so we had to rebuild our fire, and it threw off some really cool flames. Jay suggested I just use that for my picture. So I did. It just isn't anything special and I'm getting annoyed with myself!
Oh and its another late post because when it rains, I don't have internet. Like at all! Fairpoint sucks, and really needs to do something about it but won't. Oh did I mention when a big truck or plow truck comes down our road the internet goes out too? Cause yeah well it does. Its constantly out for one odd reason or another. Glad I spend so much money on it! ;o)
So we ate our dinner, I caught up on some shows and then headed to Jaimie's for our usual Tuesday night. She gave me a beautiful ornament she made and these lovely chocolates. I came home at 10 and photographed these, seriously. How cute are they? They were delicious too!

Another beautiful day here in NH. I tackled a lot of housework today, and baked some of my favorite cookies with my little guy! Cream cheese chocolate chip cookies. They are like a bite of heaven. They have a cookie look, but a cheesecake taste! Heaven, right?! I wish I had composed the photos differently, but I was trying to get a three year old away from the bowl of cookies! Anyway I played with some presets, what do you all think, look good? Too much? Let me know, I'd appreciate the feedback!
